We live in a vast, invisible world of pure energy that records everything happening in it. For example, every thought we have is broadcast into this ether to be picked up by anyone at any time, just like a radio, video, or television signal. Birds and animals who migrate with the seasons tune into this invisible energy as easily as we would read a map. Our family pets can sense our thoughts with similar ease because they are tuned in to the energy we broadcast. The electricity that powers our lives is part of this energy. We live in a sea of energy so vast, intricate, and pervasive that our human minds may never completely understand it.
Everybody has heard the term, sixth sense. Everyone has a sixth sense, but few people have the confidence to trust this powerful gift we are born with.
That’s because we’ve been programmed to trust logic above all else when it comes to figuring things out. Logic is great, but it’s only half of the capability we have to discern what’s happening around us.
We humans are born with the ability to tune into the energy that surrounds us and discern its meaning in the way that animals do. Unfortunately, this energy is called by names that we have learned to distrust, dismiss, and outright fear, such as psychic, intuition, precognition, prophecy, telepathy, preternatural, supernatural, unearthly, occult, mystical, metaphysical, and divination.
Your sixth sense is the source of the hunches and impressions that go beyond logic to guide you. Most of us have been programmed not to trust our sixth sense, due to unscrupulous leaders in ancient times who wanted to control the masses, and who’s dictatorial manipulation many of us are still in thrall to. It’s hard to break a habit that has endured over centuries of time. But it’s not impossible.
In reality, your sixth sense is a practical tool that helps you discern beyond the physical what’s happening in your environment. Logic can’t tell you whether or not you can trust someone, but your sixth sense, or intuition, can.
Your intuition is tuned into the invisible ocean of subtle energy we live in. This energy reveals information that is unavailable to most of us in the visible world. For example, our aura (the life force energy that keeps body and soul together) reveals a great deal of information about us. People who can see auras have the ability to tell right away whether or not someone is trustworthy, for example.
In the next four posts I’m going to break your sixth sense down into easy-to-understand elements so you can start developing yours to help you in all areas of your life.
The words that describe your sixth sense are similar to the words that describe your five physical senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste. You can think of them as the invisible side of your five senses condensed into four categories: inner seeing (Clairvoyance), inner hearing (Clairaudience), inner feeling (Clairsentience), and inner knowing, which includes smell and taste (Claircognizance). You can develop each one of these senses to 100% of its potential if you want to.
There’s another aspect to these senses, as well. They are arranged in a certain order in your vibration according to their importance to you, and that order reveals your personality type. You can use your knowledge of these senses to help you understand yourself and others.
In the next four posts, I’ll share more about your sixth sense and how you can develop it and use it in practical ways in everyday life.
